need extra step for Melbourne

The two electric steps for our Melbourne leave a gap of about 14 inches from the top step to the entry of the RV. Very high - looking for a solution to add a step (manual) to make it easier to get in. Any solutions. Do not want to ditch the electric steps if possible

Carry a step stool.
But do not go with one of the plastic collapsible ones that folds up neatly: They are tipsy. I am still dealing with a tweaked upper left arm after the step collapsed on my as I had my left arm on the grab bar. Ouch......

that won't work - it would sit on the stop step and make that one unuseable. Wondering if we can attach a single manual step that we can pull out above the highest electric step

If I'm reading you right, you're saying there is a 14 inch gap between the top step and the threshold? That's twice the height of a standard step. Are all Melborne's like that?

My OFF-ROAD Trailer with 15-inch wheels made my two tier step pretty high off the ground as well like shown in the photo... I added one of those portable folding steps and solved my problem. This steps also has an extra three inches height when you fold out the feet on the bottom. What is shown here is setting on the ground. When not is use it sits in the small hall way inside the door way...
