Need power boost ideas

Hi! We are the proud new owners of a 2010 Seneca. We love it but want some input as to ideas to boost the power of our 6.6 liter 5500 Duramax diesel. It is slow going up to speed and over the hills. We are considering the Banks power boost. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Propane injection is a good cost\hp option and an easy install for someone handy with a wrench.

Are you turning OD off when going up hills?

Surprised as my 2010 Silverado 2500 with the same engine barely noticeable when towing our TT. That engine is a power house. Keep in mind that Motorhomes are not hill climbers but you should be able to hold speed all the way to the top even on cruise.

He has a 2010 coach which is probably on a 2008 chassis. 330 HP since GM dropped the Kodiak in 08.

Contact Bullydog and see if they have a programmer for D-Max 5500 very important for them to know it is a 5500. Mine is only compatible with up to a 3500.

Thanks so much for all the ideas.

Grumpy - not sure we have OD. Checking manual to see.
Charlie D - checking into the ideas in the article...thanks!
Seann45 - we have contacted Banks, now looking into Bully Dog.

Anyone have a comparison of the Banks programmer vs. the Bully Dog?

Switch is on the dash to the right of the steering wheel. Can't remember how it is marked.

Crazy thought but, i wonder if the turbo is working? Might be worth finding a good DMax tech in your area.
