Need words of wisdom

Hello Jaycee family!

I need your assistance fam. Me and my wife purchased a 1988 jaymini 26. It's a solid coach other then the fact someone in it's long life decided it would be wise to paint it black with the intention of "camouflaging " it! The owner we bought it from belives its fllexseal I have tried just about everything except paint stripper or a sander. Any advice would be welcome. I will include a photo as well. The bottom section peeled very easily but the sides are presenting the issue.

It appears that the only method I can find is Acetone and elbow grease. You might try a heat gun, but apparently it bonds very well.

I can’t help with removal advice - i use Flex Seal but not where it will be visible because it looks awful after a couple of years ( and leaks ) and i just add more on top - no prep or anything just spray the dirt and loose stuff off with an air hose and spray liberally Les

I have used flex shot around all my windows and it has done pretty good this with the crazy rain we been having in Kansas. But, I really want to get it off the side. Still has me on why some would black out a white rv. Make it super hot. My poor a/c never shuts off during the day.
