New Groups

For those who are interested two new groups have been started, one for the Melbourne owners and the Greyhawk owners. To find these go the the Community heading above and then to social Group to find us.

I'm not sure how a Greyhawk is different than a Granite Ridge or Escapade when it comes to the topics covered in this forum. First topic on the "Greyhawk forum" is MPG. Do the Greyhawks get different mileage than the Granite Ridge or Escape?

I hope that the Jayco Class C forum doesn't lose its relevance with folks going to various sub-categories to ask questions and provide valuable information...

Your concern is unfounded, it is a sub group to the great Jayco Class C group. It is not hidden and is open to all "For those who are interested". I am not familiar to the Granite Ridge or Escape but I do see that they are lighter in weight so the MPG would be different.

I'll have some idea about gas milage on Monday. I'm at a campground about 250 miles from home. Started out with a full tank. Will have to fill again before I get home. Will check mileage on this first tank. Will let you know what I get.

Maiden voyge. 307 miles / 40 gal = 7.675 mpg. Used generator w/ overhead air the entire 307 miles.

Milage

Mike and Gail,
Any guess on what your speed was and did you have any mountains?

Averaged about 60 mph with exception of about 20 miles of stop & go. Used the miles from the Greyhawk odometer for the calculation.
No mountains. Some hills.

milage

We had about 30% mountains and got 8.3 by the odometer and we were towing a Suzuki Samurai (2000 lb.) We are learning not to be a lead foot. Kept it about 60.
