New guy

Thanks for the welcome. I have a 2011 Class C Melbourne 29D. Missed not realizing the coach doesn’t have hardly any storage. What do you all do for storage?

Well, pack tidy for starters. We found we take too much stuff in our 26y, but there is room for all of it, we use decorative baskets in the above cab area for things like towels, sheets, extra blankets, etc. They work well for games and toys too.

There is little room for clothes, so I get very Marie Condo in the drawers, everything is rolled, and oh so much fits that way! Where to put shoes is the biggest thing!! I have tried the wardrobe, a drawer, hanging shoe rack. I am interested in where others put them in these smaller units.

Just be patient, fold or roll neatly, and choose wisely. You will figure it out eventually. My cookwear ended up actually belonging in what I thought was a pantry! Took two years to get wise to that.

Hang in. You will get it.

Welcome

Welcome to our group! I had a small Class C with very little storage. It’s amazing what a guy can do without

Lack of storage? That's ok - your CCC will be so small as to make packing anything other than a wallet, puts you overweight.

Our Jayco class C has plenty of space for our camping needs. One suggestion would be to spend a night in the camper parked in your driveway. You will then realize exactly what you need by spending an afternoon and night in it. This way you can grab from the house what you need, and leave the rest behind. Our jayco has the over the cab bed delete option, so that could be a good amount of space you could use, even if you have the sleeper up there. Does your master bed lift up? Most Jaco class C's do, and that has some space for storage.

We did this, and the neighbors thought we were goofy. I had to explain our reason to a few of them
