New Owner's Pre-Delivery Walkthrough Checklist for First Time 5th Wheel Owners

We will be taking possession of a Jayco Eagle HT 26REC Fifth Wheel in a little over a week. We have never owned a 5th wheel before (had a trailer, Class C and a Class A) so what do we need to specifically inspect, have explained to us and any other tips for us. Thanking you in advance.

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State!

Here's a "sticky" post in the General Jayco RV Chat forum with a printable PDI checklist.

https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...ted-36094.html

This is THE single most IMPORTANT time you'll have at the dealer to learn about your new RV. Don't let them rush you through it or charge you for it. You should make absolutely sure you know where everything is, how it works, and what to do if it malfunctions. Take notes, videos, and ask questions until you're satisfied with the answers. The PDI should take hours to complete to be thorough enough.
