New Purchase: 2021 Jayco Seneca 37ts

I just purchased a 2021 Jayco Seneca 37ts. First time owner, but I've rented a few times before. I am very excited for my delivery date next week. Does anyone here have a thorough checklist that I should use during the delivery/inspection process?

Congratulations on your purchase! We love our TS.
I don’t have a check list for you , but just don’t let the dealer rush through the delivery with you. Maybe take some video’s if that helps. This is the site to ask questions, most of the people hear understand and know their units much better than most of the sales people

Welcome to the forum and congrats.

A couple of things to watch for
  • Check all the interior LED light lens to make sure they are tight. We had one loose over the main TV and one over the bed. The light cans had to be changed.
  • Check the water heater on electric then drain the tank refill it and check it again on LPG. Ours worked on LP but not electric
  • Make sure the headboard is securely attached to the bedroom slide wall. Ours came loose on our way back from the Factory Service Center.
  • Check the rear mud flaps to make sure they are secure and not rubbing on the rear tires
  • Make sure the upper wipe seal for the kitchen slide wipes water off the slide as the slide is being closed. Ours will be going back for a second attempt at correcting this issue. Only after it rains, slide is retracted and then levelers are raised water will run off the top of the slide.

Those are a few of the things that we found with our 2020 Accolade 37TS.

You can also check our an app called RV Checklists.

Work the slides and see if they run smoothly

Here is a pretty comprehensive checklist link on this sight.
https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...ted-36094.html

Obviously it is not Seneca specific but is a great starting point. As others have stated...check/operate EVERYTHING. Check your slides to make sure they are square in opening. I believe Dave from above had a fairly significant issue with his Accolade slide. My Accolade has a similar issue with slide being out of square though not bad enough to warrant a repaint. It will need adjusted and a couple floor planks replaced because of it. Ill have it fixed along with some other items when I take it back to the Factory. Overall, experience has been very good.
Best of luck and most importantly use your rig and enjoy the moments while you work out the new rig kinks!
