Smile New rig arrived at dealer!

First post. Been learning for some time.

Sold our 37ft forest river TT and 3/4 ton ram truck last year and ordered our 2021 Enterga esteem 29v last September. After multiple delays she finally got to the dealer! Set to take delivery next weekend!

Let the mods begin!

Thanks! received word there may be a delay. I’m having a dealer swap from the Girard water heater to the trauma. They said they needed two weeks to paint the door and install but now they made need more . Should find out in two days.

I'd take it home and then back when the WH is in stock and the door painted. The door should be off the rig when they paint it anyway.

Lol. Thanks. Apparently they overnighted the door. They should receive it Thursday morning. They told me they authorized the paint guys to work OT on Friday to complete it for Saturday delivery. Seems tight. We’ll see

Took delivery of identical 29v, even the same color. Why did you swap water heaters?

Haven't taken our first trip yet, but am looking forward to it

Reason why I swapped was because I do a lot of Boondocking. The garage unit only put out heat when is running. If you do a “military shower’ to save water every time you turn it back on you will get blasted with cold water for a few seconds. Which is obviously a little unpleasant and waste water. Also I did not like the fact you cannot mix cold water and only relied on setting the controller to temp

The trauma unit has a built-in small reservoir it always keeps warm. Also you can mix it in cold water like a normal hot water heater. My dealer happened to be a trauma installer as they do not sell privately. So I was able to work a deal where I rolled in the cost of the unit and painting at a big discount. Otherwise I could not afford to do it down the road.
