I actually took it over a few weeks prior to my appointment when the weather was good, it is only about a four-hour drive. Luckily it has been a very mild winter but better safe than sorry. I think the work took them just a few days however. I have heard some stay in the area when getting work done.

It is Jayco Motorized Service, a division of Jayco itself. The personnel there are employees of the company.
Regarding my work, it is somewhat of a convoluted story. I purchased my unit in Michigan since they had what I wanted. About 200 miles from where we live. The closest Jayco dealer to me (about 10 miles) sells only towables, but they were happy to help me with warranty issues. However when they saw the slideout issues, they contacted Jayco Service and it was decided that taking it directly to them would be best. Even though the minor items could be addressed locally, they elected to fix it all while it was there. After that all communications went between Service and me directly, the local Jayco dealer has not been involved. They do nice work, but I was
very happy it went directly to Jayco itself.
Obviously this would be more difficult further away, and the dealer is likely the facility of choice.
