Did a 2 night shake down trip close to home and it went pretty well. Only real issue was the bed, it’s way too firm and my shoulder is still hurting. Thinking of ordering a latex replacement. Thank you all for your suggestions, they were a big help!

We had the same issue. We purchased a Serta 2in 4lb cell foam topper (queen) and cut it to fit. Works great and we sleep well.

Congratulations! Be careful though...you might fall in love with this lifestyle. The folks on this forum give great advise. I would definitely concur with the power surge protector for electrical protection; a small electric heater to save your propane on long trips; plumbers tape for your water hook-ups; always keep a new spare sewer hose in the event your existing one springs a leak (they always need eventual replacement); a spare water pressure regulator; always keep a little bit of water in the water tank and toilet when the RV's stored away to keep the seals from drying out; keep a written list to start, but develop a system for set up and break down so nothings forgotten; and, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. One thing I've learned with road trips...the best drivers in the world are in the back seat! Ha. Happy Trails...
