New to the forum

Hey all.. greetings from New Mexico! Been lurking in these forums for about 2 months learning all I can..waiting paitently to pick up my new 2020 Redhawk 29XK, which I did on July 9th. The wife and I drove to Tampa to pick it up and took 3 weeks to get home, (Florida panhandle, New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio the Alamo and even a Walmart parking lot) had an amazing July!!
The demo was great.. I asked so many questions I saw people asking on here it took a solid 4 hours. I referred to this site numerous times during my trip, nice and smooth no issues.
The one thing that caught me off guard, almost immediately, were the trucks passing me on the interstate.. this thing got pushed around.. I quickly learned to mitigate that though. The west Texas Eastern New Mexico winds is something else I'll have to learn to deal with.... atleast you can see the trucks coming 😁
Just wanted to drop a quick note saying thanks to all of you for making my first trip hassle free and very memorable... even though you didnt know

Welcome and congrats on the new rig. As a fellow new owner (picked up my rig in February), we're also experiencing new adventures.

You had a quick learning experience with being pushed around in the Redhawk. I had that too... After sliding around underneath, I found out Jayco leaves the stock Ford OEM Econoline sway bars and steering stabilizer on these rigs when they install the box. Yes, they upgrade the J-Ride, but the undersized sway bars and steering are BIG issues.

I just installed new upgraded Hellwig front and rear sway bars and a upgraded steering stabilizer two weeks ago. We just came back from a 5 day trip, and these suspension upgrades got rid of being pushed around, got rid of the leaning and rolling, and the front end wanting to head for the woods on rough roads.

Something to think about for upgrades...
