Update: Dealer serviced RV, thanks to MPP Premier Warranty. They replaced the pump, broke the bathroom cabinet hinges, and didn’t do anything to the water heater (said it was working fine when they tried it). Then, they tried to bill us $100+ for water heater service, and I said, “Wait, didn’t you just tell me it worked fine, that it didn’t need anything?” Silence... “Uh, yeah. Let me take that off for you.”
Wow. Feel like I dodged a bullet at that place and never want to return. (We did pay $17 for the new hinges.)
Water pressure is still pretty weak when running pump, at all faucets, and the water is extremely bubbly, like it’s super-aerated or something. I’m not convinced the WH is right either; it won’t put out more than about 90-deg, max.
I still don’t have clarity about the correct valve settings when using 12V pump; part of me wonders if the system was modified by PO. Anyway, city water connection works well with the prescribed settings, so that’s one positive...
