No hot water.

3 bypass valves turned to parallel with lines. Not heating by electric or gas. Am I missing a step?

If I'm remembering correctly the middle one would be turned off or it would let cold water pass thru to the hot water line.

Cold water line going into tank should be open, hot water line going out of tank should be open. The bypass line (which bypasses the tank) should be closed.

Reverse when winterizing.
