No interior power while on Generator

2016 Melbourne - getting rig ready for a 2 week trip and accidentally left my master switch on and ran the coach battery down. When I realized, I started the generator and couldn't get anything to work - except the microwave.
No lights, no AC, nothing. Checked the breakers, everything on. Plugged into shore power and everything came on.
Any guesses why I had no power inside? I'm not electrically inclined so I'm hoping it's something to do with the battery being almost dead but it doesn't make sense...even to a carpenter!

Any suggestions would be welcome

Just guessing that the power managment system is powered by the battery.

Until you plug the RV into shore power for a day to bring the battery back up, you'll get nothing.

Or some connector loosened up from vibration.

Check the breakers on front of the geny. Mine has two seperate breakers one for each leg.

Thanks Grumps...I did check the gen switch but only notices one. I'll use both eyes this time and check again [emoji15]

Being a 30amp RV you'll probably only find one breaker on the genset.

My vote is on letting the coach battery charge since it seems what isn't working relates to 12volt. The AC thermostat is powered by 12volt.

But he should get a full 12v out of the converter with the geny running which would replace battery power, just like being on shore power.

I'm taking it off shore power after dinner...hopefully my issue is resolved. We've only had this rig since October so this trip is our first with the possibility of needing the AC.

What freaked me out was not even having lights...maybe I just jumped the gun
