Ford needs to stay in business by marking everything up, we cannot get around that. I was able to find the correct rim for my coach on line, brand new, for around $125.

I considered just carrying a tire, but I plan to go into remote areas of Canada after the fish where a tire service truck would be hours away, if they are available at all, so I have all I need to change the tire myself.

Spare Tire

Well for piece of mind I purchased a Spare Tire Bumper Rack from Etrailer for $75.00, A used Rim that looks new off Ebay for $51.00, The tire was a used 1 off my motorhome, and a cover from Etrailer for $30.00. Easy install, very well built carrier. Done! Piece of mind for $156.00!!! Priceless!

Yes, I didn't like the offset on it so I modified it by taking off the offset on the bar and just used the upright bar by using the top bolt hole and drilling another 1/2" hole below it so the weight is straight up and down. If I could figure out how to upload a picture I could show you how it looks!

I will probably never get another flat! I bought a spare Roadmaster carrier, breaker bar and Sprinter came with a jack. I had horrible roadside service. 1000.00 invested peace of mind.
