I also had a Triumph Spitfire as a teen and had a similar experience minus the bollard. Had a friend that lived out in the country. They had a long gravel driveway that went through a field and up a hill before you got to the house. I went over one afternoon while there was still snow on the ground and didn't quite make it to the top of the hill so I just left it parked where it was. Seemed fine to me. Came out later and no car in sight. Eventually found it in the middle of the field at the bottom of the hill. After rounding up one of his neighbors with a 4x4 truck we got it pulled out of the field. I also learned all about u-joints, wheel bearings, brake replacement, fuel pump replacement and all manner of electrical gremlins with that car....probably spent more time repairing it than driving it...

Been there, done that myself on a previous rig. A depressing experience but it left us with new engrained awareness and love of our mirrors. Just get past it as best you can remembering it's just 'stuff' and not your or someone else's bodily injury. Send us pics of the perfect repair!

Update! Got the estimate from National General. Took baby to Don's Body and RV in Colorado Springs. Super nice guys. Got the doors on order already. Bringing her back when they come in. Maybe 3 weeks.

Before and after! All work done by Don's Body Shop and RV Repair in Colorado Springs CO. Highly recommend them for body work. Jayco took 4 weeks to send parts. Don's only took 4 days to repair cause they knew we were full timing. Excellent work as you can see. Baby's back to new! Thanks for all y'all's concerns. Be careful in those parking lots!

We'll, not exactly. DW doesn't think so. But she'll get over it!

That looks awesome! I felt your pain when that happened. I am so glad it worked out well for you.

Glad it all worked out.
Yes, when parts have to be made, it sometimes takes awhile. I'm guessing they weren't thinking, I wonder if someone needs a door? Wonder which one?
Actually, I thought 4 weeks wasn't bad turn around.
Quality repair work is always impressive.
