It's in the geny owner's manual that should have come with your unit.

Approx 1/2 gal per hour under 1/2 load.

since i can't seem to figure out how to start a new thread, please let me ask my question here, as concerns the Onan 4000. When it is running, parked, do you guys leave the cover on or off? and do you leave the hinged outer door open or closed? I am thinking about cooling. Outside temp about 80, and i let it run for a good hour or more.

As Grumpy responded in your other post, don't run it without the cover as it defeats the air cooling effect and design of your generator.

On my rig it is about 1 gallon/hour if using the AC all the time. If you are just charging laptops or other battery devices about 1/2 gallon/per hour.
