Unhappy Our new shinny toy is broken 😩

Had our walk through and training on 2019 Greyhawk MV. All went well and we brought our new baby home. Reviewed all our instructions and started loading it up for our trip south. Since you have to put the bedroom slid out to access storage we did and all went according to plan, even made the bed.
Went to put slid in and gerrrrr 2 inches in, out 2 inches. 3 hours later after being on phone with service manager and tech, we know more about this units inards than we want to.

Solution, we are expecting 8 inches snow tomorrow and their tech is scheduled to be in my driveway with replacement parts at 10am !!!

The lake of quality of the installation of electrical components should make JAYCO hang their heads in shame

Slide issues were one of my only fears when buying our rig. I spent several hours learning how to bypass and where all the controllers are. Luckily no issues in past two years but I am prepared I hope.

Sorry to hear of your issues and hope they can fix it early before the snow hits.

Enjoy you new rig

At least the dealer is headed to your driveway. Don't hear of that happening too often. Not around here anyway.

Oh, that sucks. Hopefully this is out of its system and you wont have any more issues.

We brought home our brand new Northpoint on a Saturday and 6 days later we used it for the first time. That's when we found out our residential fridge was not working on the battery power. I immediately called my dealer and spoke with the manager in charge. He told me he was sending their service tech to my house, 1.5hr drive from the dealership, on Monday and if he could not fix it at my house he was hooking on to it to take it back to the dealer, get it repaired there, and deliver it back to my house,... at no charge to me.

Curiosity and the fact I cant stand things being broke, I tore into it when I got home and found some wires not connected quite properly and repaired it myself. I called the dealer first thing that Monday morning to call off the service tech. I've referred a lot of people to that dealer and they've made a lot of sales from me. Needless to say, they I have a great relationship with them.

Is it the smaller Schwintek slide or the larger power gear slide?

It is the smaller one. We got it in a bit st a time, after it was 1/2 way in you could see it was crocked. Due to the blizzard we are currently having and expect to continue tomorrow they are not coming out. I understand because I hate that my hubby is out in the roads today but it's frustrating. Service manager thinks it needs to be reset Plus the cold is not helping. I just want to cry and scream!!

Sorry to hear about the slide issue before even making the first trip. There are almost always bugs so hopefully this is one, done and you'll get to really enjoy your new home on wheels.

Might be worth a try.

FYI in case you did not know you should never operate a schwintek slide halfway. All the way out and hold the button for 5 seconds, or all the way in and hold the button for 5 seconds.
