Our shakedown trip

Last week, we went for 4 days to a nearby RV park to test everything.
Whatever we could think of, we did...and re-did. The only thing NOT tested was the oven,,it was too hot to even think of that.

Everything worked well....as it should, eh? We even figured out the TV/DVD/iPod/speaker situation...important stuff!

I dislike the bright LEDS in the awning, but will see about a dimmer for those. Dinette lights will get a dimmer, too...or I'll get a wee lamp and use that for ambient lighting. We have switched out the bedroom reading lights with cooler LEDS. And we now have a front cover for the cab.

Since we got home, we've ordered the dinghy and brake system,,,should be here in a week. Once that is installed, we can hit the road. Meanwhile the time is dragging...

Wintering in warm weather in this new MH will be palatial compared to our previous 15 foot travel trailer, which housed us well in AZ last year.

That's the one we don't concern ourselves with in most of AZ, winterizing.

We'll winterize this one as we don't leave until the end of November. WE can get some cold stuff here in October.
