Outlets on the inverter

Hello everyone..... Can anyone tell me if there are any other outlets that work without the generator running besides the microwave?

This is on a 2016 Seneca TS

Thank you

On our 2014 FK.

When not plugged into shore power and not running the generator. We can turn on the Inverter and it will power the Microwave and the TV outlets on our Seneca.

But not the TV outlet with the ignition on. You must over ride the safety.

I added a multi plug to the microwave outlet and a mounted a power strip under the cabinet so now I can run my coffee maker and any other appliance off the inverter.

More importantly, I don’t need to reset the coffee maker clock every time we travel.

Here is a typical 30A RV Electrical setuppictorial using both the 120VAC and 12VDC Power Distribution panels...

Google image...

The motorhomes have a slightly different setup keeping the HDTV set from being ON when driving... This is illegal in most states if not all of them actually...

We have done the same thing... except we ran a short triple tap grounded extension cord down the rear/side of the Microwave that the plug sits at the bottom of the Micro. We plug the Coffee maker (like Mark S. has) .

The only draw-back is that we can trip the 20A breaker if we forget and run the microwave while the coffee maker is brewing. Once the brewing cycle is over - we can run both.

In our 08 I used wire mold and put a duplex on the wall right below the micro.

Does a nice job making dinner in the Crock Pot while driving to the next stop too!

I had the same question for our 2019 TS. I called Jayco customer service and they emailed me a really nice schematic of the 110 system with a legend of which outlets were on the inverter and which ones were not. Maybe they can do the same for you and the 2016 unit??
