Outside storage bin door supports or latches

We recently bought a 2016 Greyhawk 31fs, I'm wondering what other owners have used for holding their storage compartment doors open? I've seen the latches that hold the door fully open to the camper & guess they will work in a couple spots, but some compartments are located under the slide outs. I've looked at struts that would hold door open at a 90 degrees & would prefer that, but not sure if there able to be mounted. Any good ideas?

Jayco will not install the latches on a slide out. Theory is you will forget and slide out the units with the door latches to it causing damage.

This thread shows what I did. I put the latches on the slide also. I've forgotten them a couple of times but it didn't hurt anything. It makes a lot of racket and scares the heck out of you but doesn't hurt anything as the latch simply disconnects.

Thank you, I like the way you installed them & I think I'll do mine the same.

Sticks

When I got my used Grayhawk, I couldn't figure out what the sticks were for in each of the storage compartments....
Then it dawned on me: Used to prop open the compartment door.

Yeh, I don't have those or any supports. Tired of trying to hold the door open while in the compartment. I told my wife no camper until we build a garage to keep it in. We built the garage & now I'm back to owning a camper after 10yrs without having one and I have been a little disappointed in the quality of them.

I bought some latches and have only used 2 at this time, as 2 others would be on the sildeout and they work great. Looking to add a couple more.
