Great! This question is for both you and Slo-Wag: Did you guys by your rigs directly from that particular RVOne store or do you live somewhere else and dealt with the dealer from another state?

Slo-wag is my wife. We are from Missouri and ordered it through the national sales department out of Albany Ny and just had it delivered from Jayco to the Des Moines store.

Oh, my bad. Congrats to you and the Mrs. I ordered mine the same way and expect delivery next month. Just curious, how did the entire order/delivery process go? Is there anything I should be aware of or look out for as I go through the same process?
Thanks.

Very nice!!! I am glad to hear that they treated you so well! I am picking up my new Redhawk 29XK in 2 weeks from there, so this gives me confidence in deciding to order through them. I had heard others say they were great to work with. Congratulations and maybe someday I will be picking up a Seneca! That would be sweet!

Congratulations on your red hawk. Just wondering what model year did you get, 2018 or 2019?

Everything really went pretty smooth. My suggestion is take your time be sure to look at and touch everything actually work everything. Open everything cabinet door, windows, storage compartments, work all the blinds don’t get caught up on just the major systems don’t forget the little things. I would suggest also asking for Austin to do your PDI with you he really is a very knowledgeable guy and spent over 4 hours with me looking at everything and is pretty good a helping you stay on track with everything there is to look at. Also his experience will be a huge plus over anyone else. With the big new store they have a lot of new employees they had 5 starting in the shop the day we were there and experience a high level of turnover. Good luck what do you have on order?

Congratulations
Congratulations, that is a beautiful truck. You will have many challenges at first but this forum is likely to answer 99% of your questions, and Jayco is good for the last 1% by phone. However, the adventures and memories you make will last a lifetime and make owning it a pleasure. Good luck!

Thanks for the heads-up about Austin.
I have a Grayhawk 29MVP on order. Not quite a Seneca but I guess it will do. LOL
Thanks again.

If you need a place to stay there is a nice hotel casino and race track about a mile away with lots of parking.

The last TT I purchased I went up one day and did the paperwork and stayed in the camper overnight on their lot and they fixed a few minor items in the morning. Do you know if the Des Moines RV One store has this available?

I don’t think so the whole lot is fenced and gated at night

Button Question on New SENECA HJ 2018
I have a question that our dealer didn’t know the answer to so we took a picture of the button in question and went to the freightliner dealer. They didn’t know what the button was for either. I haven’t been able to find any information in the book either. Very frustrating. I’m going to try to attach the picture and hopefully someone can enlighten me what the button is for. It should be the button on the right if it posts correctly.

Is it theee button on the lower left of the dash? That is the only real button I can think of in the Seneca, if so it is.....

Picture
After a month of ownership or a few hours on this forum you will know more than your dealer dreams to know about your truck. The button RustyNuts posted temporarily connects chassis batteries and house batteries to start engine if chassis batteries are dead or gen if House batteries are dead.
