Pink Fluid Leaking...Hydraulic Pump to Jacks??

Help!!! I found some pink fluid on the driveway and now I'm seeing where it's coming from. It appears to be from the main housing of the hydraulic Big Foot jacks. Can someone confirm?

Also, I only see it appearing in my driveway, where the nose of the MH is higher 15 degrees) than the rear. Where I store it, the nose is pointed down (15 degrees), and there is no sign of this fluid on the ground. Thoughts? Am I safe to leave for my big trip tomorrow? Is this just overflow? Will my leveling system not work? Anything else impacted?

Something is loose like a hose fitting or connection. That does look like Hydraulic fluid. The best way to find the leak is to clean the area and run the gear briefly. First confirm that the resovoir is full though as you don't want air in the system.

If your not confortable with that then definite dealer fix.

Thanks! Yes, confirmed its hydraulic fluid to the jacks, just one of the lines. Called dealer, they told me to bring it in and they would fix ASAP. So I'm currently sitting at the dealer and they are working on it. I'm having them adjust the Hellwig springs, also while in here.

. Glad I only live 30 miles fro my dealer.

Update:, they could not fix it because the actual hose is broken (not just bad connection) and a new one is needed. So I won't have any leveling jacks for my big trip to S Carolina in the morning. I'll have to make due. They did however fix my Hellwig springs and fix a loose bolt that was rattling around in the hubcap!!!!

You have the same problem as me. The black (retract) hose on the hydraulic unit is leaking. Mine was finger tight so I snugged it up but still leaks. That's so weird we both have the same problem on brand new units. I guess they got a bad batch. I guess I'll call them and tell them to order two.

You can still use it. If its just a drip like mine, put an absorbent pad under it. Keep a jug of atf with you. The reservoir holds a lot of fluid. There's two 1/4" screws that hold the cover on. The fill cap is just a plug. Keep the reservoir full to 1 1/2" from the top.

Most NAPA and other reputable parts stores can make you a hydraulic hose in no time. Might want to check with them.

Remove the hose and take it to a NAPA store. As long as they have the correct ends, they will make a hose that will usually be stronger than the one you have. Also, a lot of John Deere and other tractor dealers, as well as construction equipment dealers make hydraulic hoses. They just need to see the ends as well as the diameter of the hose.
