Plugged into house

Heading to SC in the morning I don’t have a 30amp service yet.. I plan on installing one for rv.. my question I want to run furnace tonight set around 55 to 60 degrees and run my hot water heater on electric just to keep things warm for the 4am start tomorrow.. and also can I run my hot water heater on electric setting when driving? Cause we will be dry camping on our way down one night.. 2021 redhawk se

You can only run hwh on electric when plugged in or generator is on. When you're on your way down and if you're running your fridge on propane then just run the hot water heater on propane also. I personally would just turn hot water heater on when you're about 40-60 mins away from SC. And if you're not showering then don't turn it on at all. Lol. So you have 2 choices run them generator and use gas or run on propane.

You can test your outlet with a small electric heater.. Should be fine. I don't think your circuit will allow you to run both a heater and hwh om same so you might need to run propane for furnace. Are you chilling your fridge in advance also?
