I have a Viair too, got tired of replacing cheaper 12v pumps every year or two. Awesome piece of gear!

I have no problem spending the cash on a Viair, but which one do I need without going overboard.
90-100 psi on the tires I'm riding on; will the Viair300 be more than enough? Viair400?

I have this one: Porter-Cable 165 PSI 4 Gal. Compressor

I turns back on when the pressure drops to 135 so it fills my 110psi tires very quickly.

I have had it for 3 years and it works perfectly so far. I hope I didn't jinx myself. I do have an onboard generator.

I bought this kit from Amazon and found that the screw on adapter even connects to the hard to reach outer tire on my Dullys.

I figured that I have a lot of money in this RV and that I need to make sure that I can check and properly fill the tires. Should be a money savings in the long run.

And I bought the Viar 400 kit, can't comment on the 300.

Don't know if this works for you - but DH has the Lithium Ion Battery Ryobi ONE+ products in the TT: battery charger so he can use all the cordless tools such as drill (to lower/raise stabilizers), hand vacuum (for me on the tiny carpet), 18v Dual Function Inflator/Deflator Air Compressor. Home Depot carries the full line.

Was just looking at the 400P and it does look nice. I note that there seem to be 3 versions of the basic kit. The 400P, 400P Automatic and 400P-RV. The "RV" version is the "Automatic" version (has a pressure shutoff switch) plus a couple of air lines for a longer reach. The RV Geek guys reviewed the latter of the 3 and it looks like the double hose will reach from the front of a lengthy coach to the rear tires.
Unfortunately the $$ goes up as you move up the food-chain starting at around $200 and edging past $300. It does look good tho and Viair does have a good rep.
Make sure you order the one you want.

I have the same unit only under the Harbor Freight badge. Works great. I can reach all 6 tires on Bertha from the front of the Jeep. Long 12V cord from the Jeep battery and long air line.

I've been using this Sears Craftsman 135 for a year. It airs up my 80 lb. dual tires fast and will go much higher. It's not heavy like the pancake models. I leave it in the trunk of my toad. I would not go on the road without it.

Just ordered the 400P-RV on Amazon. A little pricey, but I think the right choice

Personally, I would prefer not to use an air compressor that requires battery cables that can be supplemented by AC. I prefer one that can operate on 120v AC. My toad, coach, and chasis batteries are much less convenient to use with battery cables for power than the 120v outlets in my RV on generator or the power pedestal or my garage. Using battery cables is good for emergency situations when no generator is available but for frequent, routine airing up tires, I'll take an AC unit unit any day.

I just noticed that the 400P-RV is under $200 on Amazon today ... that's $70 less than when I recently added it to my wish list.

That ! Is a good price! Got mine last week and really like it . I also carry a small pancake compressor that has a small tank. This will be nice for those times 115v is not available.

I just bought and received the Viair 400p-rv compressor. It seems to work well although I can't reach the valve stem on the outer rear tires with the 45 degree tire
chuck that came with it. The valve stem is not movable and no matter what way I position the chuck it simply doesn't have the proper angle. I'm very disappointed because it says works on dual rear tires-but not on my Redhawk 31xl
Any suggestions?
