Portable fireplace/electric heater for Greyhawk Motorhome

I am thinking about buying a portable fireplace/heater for the motorhome. Any recommendations and where purchased?

Here is a link to a bunch of small heater/fireplaces, looks like most of them are available on Amazon.

I think you are trying to ask about the portable electric heaters. Here, you can read the reviews of the best ones https://bestazy.com/best-electric-fireplace/. Better to check them at the nearest outlet or can visit the online stores at Amazon or eBay. Last year, I bought an electric heater by LifeSmart. Yes, it is portable and easy to use with the remote.

I bought a freestanding fireplace/heater from Tractor Supply, works great.

I did not have a fp in my last fiver so I bought a small one. Lowes has them for a $100 bucks.

We didn't care for it so we bought the Jayco with the fireplace. LOL

We had thought about an electric fireplace to go between the seats of the cab, pointing into the house. We couldn't find one that we liked that would fit well. We ended up with a Tower Heater with a ceramic element that oscillates by Lasko. This heater easily heated the inside of our Greyhawk. With the heater oscillating, it would quickly heat the Motorhome.

Our current TT has an electric fireplace that is rated for 400 sq. Although it will heat the entire TT after a while, it takes a long time. We don't use the Lasko in the TT since we have the fireplace, but if we didn't have the fire place, we would definitely use the Lasko. We use it in the sticks and bricks as well and it works great there too.

I little more expensive fireplace, but looks like it's made for RV's.

This one mounts in the wall... or for me, a cabinet under the TV.

Sorry for reviving.
Basically, for safety reasons, a portable space heater (cube heater or otherwise) should only be used for supplemental heating and not for continuous use and should not be left unattended, even when sleeping. This is what safety officials in various gov. and other orgs. state.

https://www.energy.gov/energysaver/h...rtable-heaters

There are some wall fan heaters (like Suburban) that can be used and also a kickspace heater. Wiring can be run through ceiling spaces, in interior walls and through cabinetry if needed in most cases.
But choosing between portable heater and fireplace - If there is a suitable location and the required safety clearances, I'd go with the fireplace. We have both, fireplace PuraFlame and a basic Costco heater, since a portable unit can be pulled out and plugged in as needed and put in an outside storage space when it is not needed. It can be smaller and take less space and we like that we can heat up only a part of the camper.

We currently use a Lasko tower to supplement heat in our rig. If it's freezing we use the furnace at night also. The fp is handy especially used with the ceiling fan to move it around, or the ac set on fan only setting.

We have always tried to not leave the fireplace on when we are not there or sleeping.

We found the freestanding fp took up to much room when it was not being used and ditched it.
