Smile Potable Water Tank

I have a new 2019 Jayco Seneca 37TS. When the potable water take is filled the bottom of the take sags down and deforms the plastic wall in the storage compartment. Has anyone else had this issue and has Jayco come up with a fix?

There are several posts on this and you can find specific details on various repairs there. I pulled the tank, added 2x6pt stringers under the plastic pan. Added some insulation and finally put a sheet of plywood under the tank. Added new overflow system to stop siphoning and added a bar to keep tank secure.

Others have added unistrut, steel bars or solid plywood under the plastic liner. Some people had jayco do the repair while others did the repair them selves. Someone in a earlier post had said they talked to a Jayco engineer who stated that the flex was okay and within their design criteria.

Common issue, even with TTs. There is a long Seneca mod post that as I recall started out on this mod by Robbyr. I could be very wrong that it was started by Robbyr. But the post is really good, so well worth the time searching.

Thank You. I have been under the rig and see an easy fix. I will do it myself that way I am sure it will be correct.
