Power cord door 29MV

Hello on our 2017 greyhawk 29MV they have the rat hole that we are threading the power cable through too much. I saw on the 2018 Greyhawk 29MV they changed the door to allow the cable through. anyone else tried this modification? any part numbers? ideas? maybe the whole door has part number? . called jayco and they don't have part number without VIN of a 2018.

thanks Ted

A retractable reel would be real nice. With a hole in the door.

We have a 2018, and the cable still is fed through the hole in the bottom on the compartment. Can any other 2018 owners chime-in? Photos?

I saw this on a 2018 greyhawk brochure but I did find a better way to get the cord to the pole.

I was at a dealer yesterday and looked at a 2018 29mv and the power cord is still feed threw a hole in the bottom of the power compartment. I ended up cutting the cord at about 2 feet putting a plug on it and then putting my Hughes power conditioner in side the power compartment. The Hughes has a 2 ft cord on it that I plug in the remaining cord I cut off and plug that into the wall or campsite pole outlet. So I essentially only have to feed a foot or so through the hole instead of the whole cord each time I setup. Its a lot more convenient for me this way.

Home made power door modification over the weekend. 4 Gang plastic plate and a 2 inch Grommet . should work better for electrical cable. Ted Littleton,Colorado

Did same thing, only used a Progressive Industries EMS-PT30C Surge Protector.
a whole lot easier just feeding a foot or so of the cable in.
