Question Power/Electric Stabilizer Jacks

Anyone out there added aftermarket electric stabilizer jacks, such as UltraFab Power Twin, BAL, Barker or other?

If so, how satisfied are you with them? what brand? any suggestion to someone considering getting them? ???

Joe

You will find that the majority have auto levelers. Big Foot, Power Gear. We added the Big Foot to our 2001 and wish I had them on our SENECA. I would go the extra expense instead of just the stabilizers.

Joe,

I installed the UltraFab Power Twin II stabilizers on the rear of my 2011 Greyhawk. The would not fit under the front due to clearance. Remember these are stabilizers and have limited leveling capability. But much cheaper that levelers like BigFoot.

I dont have levelers or stabilizers on my 2012 31FS. Once I get totally fed up with carrying 2x6's and cussing unlevel campsites, I will have the Big Foot system installed. The coach is pretty stable onthe chasis. We dont mind the slight rocking, matter a fact we hardly notice it. But I almost religiously have to lift the front of the coach up 2-3" to get level. I am concerned about the additional weight this system will add..

I sent a question to Lippert Components about their Level-Up 6 point auto level system. I asked for a price for just the parts so I could install myself this winter. This is the response I recieved. Looks like I am heading to Indiana this winter. Tired of all the 2x6 leveling needed at all these campgrounds.

Mike,

The hydraulic 6 point level up system would have to be installed by a certified installer.

To have that system installed here in Goshen, IN it would be $4812.50 out the door.

If you would like to schedule an appointment here, please email or call me.

For pricing at another certified location, you would need to contact that dealer for pricing.
