Power problems

Have a 30x and my power cord was plugged into the house and lost power. House plug and cord got hot which I have changed. Still not working. Is there a main breaker/fuse somewhere I need to reset? Have checked the breakers that I know of, but none seemed popped. Stumped, please help.

Exactly how much of the cord got hot? Just a few inches or so from the house plug?
Can you successfully plug the camper into a different outlet?

There might be a breaker in your house's service panel the tripped. If there isn't, it's possible that you experienced a poor connection at the socket, and it burned the wire in the outlet box. (Might be the cause of the hot plug and cord.) If you have no experience in dealing with such issues, I advise an electrician to check things out.

Even if the breakers don't look thrown, reset them anyway. And yeah...check the house breaker. But you really need to find the culprit before using it again.

A reason for this good advice from TWP .. a lot of both house and camper breakers don't look tripped, but they are. If you try to turn one on, you have to manually check by flipping all the way off. then all the way on. A multi-meter is your friend here.
