Power step removal

Hey all,
After scraping our power step on a gas station entrance for the third time in the last year and a half we have decided to remove it. We will use one of the folding steps to go in and out.
Any ideas about removing the step as a complete unit? I want to remove all the motors and the other parts to save for when we sell it.
Thanks in advance for your help
Marc

Shouldn't be too bad. But it'll be heavy. Remove the cotter pin, the pin that connects motor arm to stairs. Lower stairs. Unplug electric harness. Remove ground bolt (or cut the wires). I think four big bolts hold stair assembly to frame. Maybe leave controller up there for now.

Once you get the heavy metal down and out, the motor assemble is 3 or four bolts. The controller, the same -- 3 or four.
