Pump Noise Question

We have a ShurFlo 2008-403-144 water pump in our '07 Seneca. The pump seems to still be running fine but it's definitely gotten louder lately when it runs. My first thought was that perhaps it loosened up and was vibrating. I just checked it and it can be moved back and forth about a quarter inch or so but the mounts are tight against the panel. The pump itself is moving in relation to the pump's mount. I can get my hands on it but can't get a real good view of it so it's hard to tell if there's rubber between the pump and the mount.

So, my questions are, has anyone else with a ShurFlo pump had it gotten louder on them? And second, are your pumps fairly free to move back and forth? I'm trying to determine if this movement is normal.

It's normally not the pump that makes the noise it is the hard plastic water line that is rubbing/vibrating someplace. You may have a water line that has shifted just enough to be up against something. We get most of our noise from the lines under the vanity when we put something in there wrong and move a line.

My ShurFlo pump is mounted on a rubber base and has flex hoses. I have always thought it was to noisy and have tried several small mods to quiet it. So far none have worked to my satisfaction.
