Question for 29 MV owners

Anyone have an issue with pull out island coming out while turning sharply? When I turn on a steep freeway off ramp, mine will slide out at times. If this has been an issue for you, how was it resolved? Don't have time for dealer repair as I'm meaning on a trip in a few days.

Mind is fairly tight. I have to pull hard to get it to slide out. It's at the right tension as far as I'm concerned. It has never moved by itself yet.

Mine slid out on occasion while making sharp right off angle turns. I added an additional latch on the outside front of the counter top material. It's not the neatest thing on the block but it hasn't slid out since I did that. I've read about other folks having the dealer add an additional latch at the rear of the island. I could have done that but didn't feel like pulling the island.

Nope. Our's is in pretty tight. We have to give it a strong pull to bring it out.

Yes we had a similar issue. While in for service last fall dealer added a 2nd latch to back of unit so fixed our problem.

Ours does this all the time. Can someone post a picture of this 2nd latch? Maybe I will show it to our dealer and see if they can install one. When I asked them previously about this issue, they didn't seem to know of any way to fix it.
