That is what I use but keep in mind that when the phone loses service the SiriusXM goes out.

If the SiriusXM is coming in via sat to the radio it will continue. I have sat on two cars and the app on the phone. I use the phone in the RV but what I said above.

Can you explain that in a little more detail? If the radio in the class c (the OP is a little vague on that) does not have Bluetooth, nor Sirius, how does that work?

Need more details. Does your radio already have access to Sirius? If yes, all you need to do is get in touch with them and subscribe. You may also need to install an antenna and some other stuff.

If not, you will need a radio that is Sirius ready, an antenna, and some other stuff. This is best left to an experienced installer.

Long ago Sirius sold a device that worked with your existing radio that you tuned to a certain frequency. From what I've heard, it didn't work very well. I don't know if that is still available.

With all these, you still need a subscription.

Plenty of adapters and an add on tuner on AMAZON. I used one when we had the 08 SENECA worked fine.

I suspect the suggestion is:
- download the Sirius XM app for your phone
- connect your phone to your RV's headunit (bluetooth or audio cable)

The downside would be instead of using Sirius' satellites to receive the signal, you'd be pulling it in over a cellular connection.

No cell service, no Sirius XM.

If you don't have bluetooth, then you'd run an inexpensive audio cable from the phone's headphone jack (assuming it still has one) to the audio input on the headunit.

That's my guess.

Sirius makes an in car recv that's small and has it's own sat antenna. Inexpensive and free if you ask nice when you sign up. I've been using one for years and when at the trailer, I have a second base for it and voila..Sirius in the trailer. Getting ready to leave, I move it back to the truck.

1. Swap radio for a Sirius-ready radio.
2. Install Stand-Alone Sirius XM on your existing radio.
