Raise speed limiter on 2007 Jayco Seneca 34SS?

Recently we went cross country with our new to us
2007 Jayco Seneca 34SS, while it had plenty of power
I was a bit disappointed that it topped out at 75mph,
it could be tickled up to 76-77 playing with the cruise control.
It has a Banks box, Ottomind I believe but not with the optional
controller. I would like to get a bit more mph for safer passing
when at the higher speed limits permissible on some highways.
Passing at a 2 mph difference is not what I consider safe and
is a nuisance to any behind me.
Has anyone addressed this issue?

Are you sure you want to be driving this beast at 80MPH? Regardless of higher speed limits on different roads, the size and poor aerodynamics of a Class C do not lend themselves to maxing out the speed limit in my opinion. Just my 2 cents - no disrespect intended.

I suspect you're going to get the same responses here that you did on IRV2. A class C is just not built as solid as a semi so shouldn't be expected to behave as one. I would suspect there is a reason for the speed limiter other than Jayco being ornery.

I personally believe you know that your RV handles well and it would be safe and controllable at higher speeds, under adverse circumstances, than the Seneca is capable of, as is. I understand what YOU want.

I also am of the opinion that NO ONE on this forum, nor iRV2 knows the answer to your question.

It is my understanding that the tires are rated for 75 thus the limit on the coach!

I use a BullyDog with my 2007 Seneca and it has performed nicely. I get 8mpg towing and running the Generator. It piggybacks through the ODB connector which is inside the ****pit to the right of the steeringwheel under the dash. I also drill and tapped a pyrometer post turbo for more granularity. I'm not race tuning but tuning for economy and tow power which should also be every coach owners goal. The Bullydog also allows for speed limit increase.
