Rear ac

Is there a way to run rear ac while driving WITHOUT having to run the generator.
Was thinking of using a 3500 watt inverter, but was told I would need to buy extra large marine batteries. Alternator would not be able to maintain charge. Any ideas.
Install another ac?

Not, without a ton of batteries and other modifications.

Why wouldn't you just run the generator? It only uses 1/2 gal of fuel an hour on average. The worst thing you can do for a generator is not use it frequently.

I use it every week. But recently it over heated. Onan could not get it to give a code or over heat. I run showdogs and wanted a plan B in case this happened again.

Pump no. Filter had just been replaced. I’m back using the generator and no more problems. Just looking for another idea

If your worried about leaving the dogs in the rv and the generator quits so a/c stops they make a alarm for this that will call your cell phone.

Other than that the generator is the only thing big enough to power the a/c's going down the road or stopped...except shore power.
