rear camera question

Is the rear camera supposed to shut off in reverse? We have a 16 Melbourne 24K. I'm uaed to back up cameras in our car which comes on only in reverse. We have the Mercedes diesel with Pioneer sound/monitor and probably a Furion camera system.

The rear camera should automatically turn on when you're in reverse. You should also be able to turn it on all the time if you wish.
