Reasonable RV parks

Hello,

We are trying to get away in July for week or two and looking for any reasonable RV parks on the east coast.

Thanks in advance

Can you help narrow that down to a potential state, that will help with suggestions. Also, what do you consider "reasonable", as that can vary based on each person?

Good Sam Web site has a good RV listing site that gives user ratings and their fees. There are many others that can help. RV camping.org, go camping America, KOA has a search site. The possibilities are endless.

So we are in CT and we have so many choices like mountains, ocean, etc. very close to us. Last year we went down South and visited Florida twice. My wife loves ocean but prices of RV park near ocean are little high.

I'm thinking to visit one of those states and stay for a week or two...Up state NY, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Carolina, S. Carolina.

Ah, forgot to mention we are traveling with two small dogs.

KOA Watkins Glen in the Finger Lakes Region of NY is a beautiful campground. Lots to do in the surrounding area. Corning glass factory tours, Dinner Cruises on Seneca Lake, Gentle hiking trails, tons or wineries and a NASCAR track all very close. It's not the cheapest place but facilities are immaculate, staff is very friendly.

They are open now with restrictions. They are hopeful that they will be able to resume mostly normal operations by Memorial Day Weekend. We will be there that weekend this year....

Look into harvest hosts. Most allow dogs. You can spend a few nights at nice locations with full hookups and then head to a harvest host for an evening to help offset some of the costs. Harvest host dont normally have hook ups though some do.
