Recall for hydraulic leveling system supporting structure

Just received recall notice for the hydraulic leveling system support structure. I looked at our pump after we bought the rig and I thought it looked ok. Did not expect to get recall on our rig. Can someone post a picture of what the support looked like before recall and picture after fix was installed/done? Just want to see if in fact I need to go to dealer to get fixed. Hate the thought of spending any time at dealers. THANKS for pictures.

Enjoy the journey

If this is the same issue, this has been a major topic of discussion for several months here. Welcome to the club!

Brackets with gussets and without gussets have broken.

Here is a copy of their repair procedure.

FYI I talked to Wayne at Jayco motorized this afternoon. He said the first batch of repair brackets were designed for Ford E450 chassis but some Redhawks are on Chevy & they didn’t fit. Problem has been corrected & brackets are available for normal order. Wayne said 2-4 week turnaround from order receipt to shipping. I asked if it helped that I had Amazon Prime. He didn’t get it

Thanks for the update. Based on this information I now have an appointment at a welding shop to get the work done next week. Showed them pictures above and will get extra brace put in along with gussets. They will complete work while I wait. Should take less than an hour and worth it to me since I have a trip next month and then in may for summer. Thanks to all again for your responses. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey

Glad to hear this. I've got an appointment at my dealer for this recall in early April, planned for after the snow stops. So this report makes me hopeful that the logistics issues will be worked out by then and I may be able to just take it in and get it done. If not, I've certainly read enough ideas on this (and other) threads to make a temp fix if needed to avoid missing any trips while I wait for the parts to catch up. Thank you to everyone that has posted info and photos!
