Recommendations for Gulf Shores in March?

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to stay at in Gulf Shores? We are wanting to get out of cold Illinois while the kids are on their spring break, the last week of March. Everywhere I've looked, either is "Class A only" or doesn't seem like it would be a decent fit for us (kids are 12 & 14). I'd appreciate any recs.

Sorry but think you are kind of late to the party. Most State parks and many private CG's get booked up months ago for late winter and Spring Break. Can't help with your search. If you find something that still has an opening, there is probably a reason.

I would recommend Gulf State Park Gulf State Park | Alapark . But I imagine that they have been booked for that time period for some time.

Try Gulf States Park, they have 497 sites so they may not be full. Also try Pandion RV resort, they are brand new and looked very nice.

We have stayed at Anchors Aweigh RV Resort in Foley. It is a small-ish park but it is well run, has large concrete pads and wide roads, convenient to stores, restaurants, and shops. We stayed there with two kids as well- 11 and 14. I just checked and they have availability for the last week of March (back-in site for 6 nights is $270). I think Gulf State Park is an ideal location for access to the beach, but if full I would recommend Anchors Aweigh (we have stayed twice- once in January and once in July).
Good luck!

You're welcome to park at my house if all else fails haha. I am 30 miles from Gulf shores but am new to camping so I don't have any recommendations other than we like Jellystone Park in Elberta. Great family fun park for my 9, 6 and 3 year old.

I've some "Class A Only" parks that will take a Super C. Might be worth asking.

May want to check out the Pensacola/Navarre area as well. Numerous nice RV parks and not far from Gulf Shores.

We stayed at Doc’s RV Park a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. It’s a small, basic park but well kept. The pads were a mix of grass, sand and gravel. Mostly full-timers but everything looked tidy. Quiet at night.

Thanks for recommending Pandion Ridge!! -Just got home from a weeks stay there and loved it. Rates were fair and the entire facility was immaculate.

For anyone headed down there, I would recommend using the Foley Beach Express tollway as it 1) avoids all the downtown traffic, which is significant 2) drops you out, about 1 mi from the cg!

Try Johnny’s RV Park and resort in Foley, Alabama. It is north of Gulf Shores and the ave a water park for the kids. Nice, Clean all paved pads.
Only about 10 miutes rth of Gulf Shores
