Got it, thanks. One curious question, how does disconnecting one red wire allow the power to flow when driving?
A regular 110 outlet has a hot and a neutral, is this a special outlet?

Thanks,

JohnyNorthland

Hi Mike.

I was just searching some of the post and came across yours about your purchase and experiences with your Redhawk.

My wife and I are also on our 3rd rig, we are new to Jayco and have just purchased a 2019 Rehawk 25r.

I see you installed a Maxx Air remote control fan. was that a replacement for the bathroom fan?, or an install in an open vent? And did it require installing it through the roof or was it a retro fit?

Also on the Vinyl roof, do you treat yours with a protectant? if so what do you use?

thanks,

John

Hi John,
I am actually the one who started this thread but we ended up buying a 2019 25R also just a few weeks ago.
We factory ordered it and should be here in Winnipeg around Feb.
Our first trip will be in May.
I would like to stay in touch with you to see how you like your 25R and any issues you may find (hopefully not!)
Do you have yours yet?
I would also give you feedback about ours after we actually have it.
my email is gdbates@mymts.net
Thanks
Greg

Maxx Air fits in place of the standard roof vent in the bedroom on our floor plan. It will fit in place of any standard 14 x 14 roof vent. It comes with good instructions and is not a difficult installation. You will have to tap into an unswitched 12 volt power source.

We are fortunate to have a covered concrete parking pad in the back yard. RV roof is well protected so I have not treated it yet. Washed it a couple of times and it looks fine. I will treat it with 303 protectant this spring.
