Redhawk 31XL (2017) - Mystery Switch

I have a 2017 Redhawk 31XL and there is a switch in the Bathroom who's purpose I cannot identify

I have a double switch operating the ceiling light and the ceiling exhaust fan and then I have a single switch that doesn't seem to do anything when switched. LOGIC would suggest the water pump but that is not happening.

This is a new unit and the dealer hasn't been able to identify it so I'd like to know if anyone can help me so I can inform the dealer what it SHOULD be doing !

Thank you

Jim in Tampa, FL

Do you have tank heaters? Sometimes that switch is in the bathroom.

Post a picture, if you can. I don't think the Redhawks came with Tank Heaters, but Grumpy is correct - our Tank Heater switch is in the bathroom and is red / illuminated.

Switches in our Greyhawk bathroom are: various lights, the fan and the tank heater. Our water heater temp control is in the bathroom. What kind of water heater do you have in the Redhawk?

If the dealer took a run at it and didn't know what it was; if you look at other Redhawks and that switch is missing - then I wouldn't discount the odds that it may have been a mistake.

I believe that is another light switch, so you do not need to reach up and manually turn on the overhead lights. Very helpful at night time.

Call Jayco with your Vin number and ask for the 12volt wiring schematic.

Pry the insert cover off. Then unscrew the switich from the wall. See if there are any wires connected.

Thank you ALL for being so helpful

Mystery solved - it was a second overhead light that needed to be turned ON before this switch could turn that light on and off.

Also helpful is the suggestion that I can request wiring schematics from Jayco - am about to do that.

BTW - our Dealer has not exactly knocked themselves out resolving our repair issues on this NEW unit under full warrantee. Is this typical of Jayco Dealers?

Thanks again.
