Refrigerator (Grayhawk)
I have a 2017 Grayhawk 31DS and keep it stored in a wearhouse . I turn on the refrigerator the day before I bring it home . When i bring it home it is parked in my driveway overnight until we leave for our camping trip. Question is , my driveway is sloped some and I am wondering if this will hurt the refrigerator. I read some post talking about not to exceed a certain angle. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks, Larry

Refrigerators need to be as level as possible. You have levelers on your GreyHawk, use them to effectively take care of this.

Yes, I can do that just didn’t want to put that much weight On that small footprint on the concrete driveway. Maybe I can make two pads to spread the weight out.
Thanks

If your driveway is concrete you will be fine. Blacktop no.
I used the levelers on our SENECA on concrete all the time.

The 'foot' of the jack is to distribute the weight.

It is much better to keep a load on your levelers while in storage. Much better for the seals in the rams. Don’t worry about the footprint, that’s the way they are designed. No worries !!

Should I auto lever or just level as good as I can get before the tires come off the ground.

Yeah don’t think I want to leave it on the jacks that long.

Everyone has their own ideas, I was told this from a leveler company and have done this for over 30 years with no problems. Hydraulics have not changed over the years, only the electronics have changed. Do what you feel is correct. I only know what I was told and it has worked well for me.

Norcold recommends that their refrigerators operate within 3 degrees off level side-to-side and 6 degrees off level front-to-back.

Which can be 6 degrees off level front to back, the motorhome or the refrigerator?
