We leave our frig and freezer door open during storage to control any possible mould and moisture. Comments....

I run ours 24/7/365. I have with every RV we've owned. No specific reason why, just always used it as an additional food/beverage storage unit while it is plugged in to the house.

We also leave ours off and use the door clips (part of the handle on our Norcold) to keep open. While we store inside with semi-climate controlled, we keep the TT plugged in.

We do also except that before I put it away, I wipe it down inside with Clorox mixed in water.

Damp/mould are big issues in our hot, damp local climate, so, after every trip, the fridge gets cleaned inside (those Clorox wipes are really useful for this), and then the door latched open (Our Norcold fridge has a latch that will let you keep the door open by an inch or so)
Repeat as necessary ...

We have a kitchen island in our Pinnacle FW that prevents us from opening the doors on the fridge when in storage. I got some advice from someone to put a dish towel folded a couple of times at the top so the door will not close all the way. It doesn't need to be wide open. It only needs to allow air to circulate while in storage. I do this during winter storage and between camping trips. We have never had any mold issues.
I like the idea of wiping it down with clorox and water before winter storage. I'm adding that to my list of things to do before the long winter nap.

I leave ours wide open. Even though the Norcold has those little tabs that keep the doors open slightly, I've had mine close despite the tabs. So really I keep them open like that so I know they're actually open.

I used the tabs to keep them cracked open. Fridge gets a wipe down with disinfectant cleaner after each use. I also put down an orange Sham-Wow type absorbent cloth in the bottom of the freezer after shutting it down. This soaks up the water from the ice melting and prevents it from running places.

I leave mine open a bit, using the built in sliding clips from Norcold, but I also leave a box of baking soda in the fidget and freezer. All the rigs we have owned, this always leaves are fridge and freezer clean, dry and fresh smelling, ready to go for the next season.

I turn mine off after every trip and leave the doors open a few inches as well. Also do this for winter storage.
