Refrigerator on or off?
I have a new Precept with a Norcold 121 series refrigerator/freezer.
In a short term storage scenario (1 month before next trip), having switched off the battery disconnect and turned off the LP tank, should the refrigerator be switched to "OFF" or does it not matter since all power sources are unavailable?

Turn the fridge off anytime you aren't using it.

Since I left it in the "on position" but power and LP OFF, any harm for a week?

I'll need to turn on the house power to be able to get the fridge's display to illuminate so I can turn it off. Or is there another method?

Must be one of them new-fangled ones with a digital display. Mine has an old school sliding selector switch.

Yep, digital display. It gives you the ability to select your power source..LP, electricity. The frig will not turn on until you select the source of power.
No harm, I do shut all powered items off prior to shutting off the main power switch.

So for those following along at home, today I turned on the house power and opened the LP tank, set the fridge for LP and it did not start up. Turned on the generator and set for Automatic and it started up just fine. Turned off the generator and the fridge turned over to LP as normal and all is fine.
Turned it off this time!

McGarrett, the LP may take longer to start the refer because it has to clear the air from the line. I think the auto lighting is done automatically 3 times. Often times we turn on a burner on the stove and light it, that will bring the LP into the system.
