Regen

I know there a lot of variables with this but I'm starting to be concerned that I haven't seen a regen in 2500 miles. Seems like my Ford did it every 100 miles. What is your experience.

What brand/model? My 2015 DMax never shows a regen.

Our 2007.5 Duramax cycles through regen about every 250 miles for about 25 miles.

There is a switch on the dash to force a regen.

I have never noticed my Sprinter going in to regen mode in the 2.5 years I've owned it. It has been completely seamless.

it's a 2017 and you should see a light by your def gage then you have to do a manual regen. At least that's what I think happens.

Our Freightliner/Cummins combo will only require a parked regeneration if you subject it to a lot of stop and go driving. Generally the sort of cruising we do in a Seneca at highway speeds, it will take care of things by itself. I have noticed a "High Exhaust Temp" warning a few times when it was taking care of itself, but in 22,000+ miles it has never warned a parked regeneration was needed.

I have never noticed a regen in 8000 miles. Mostly highway so I think it burns off on its own.
