Hi, We have a 2012 Jayco 29D Melbourne with the tv in the front entertainment center, We would like to replace the Jensen tv but can not figure out how to remove the tv. Would like to do it ourselves because you all know how long the dealers like to keep your stuff. Any help would be appreciated.
We swapped out our Furrion front TV for a Costco Roku 'smart' version and love the change. But, mine was on a mount that moved away from the front upper wall so all I had to do was disconnect from sitting on the over cab bed. I imagine yours must be flat against a cabinet or entertainment area?
We replaced the Jensen TV in the above cab entertainment center in our 2010 Melbourne 29D. There was a wooden frame with four wooden plugs in front of the TV. We popped out those plugs exposing the wood screws. Once the screws were removed the frame pulled away. We could then reach behind the Jensen TV and remove the screws from the TV bracket. Behind the TT was a piece of half inch plywood that can be used to secure the new TV.
The original Jensen was a 24” and we replaced it with a 32” Visio smart TV.
