Ringing sound

Hi everyone. First I want to say thanks to eveyone on this forum. What a wealth of information!

I'm new here and new to owning. I just purchased a 2005 Granite Ridge 3100SS.

I brought it home and after admiring it and fiddling with it, I parked it on the street, closed the side door and a few seconds later heard an alarm that sounded like a smoke alarm. It lasted for several miinutes. Not the smoke alarm as it had no battery. Checked the carbon monoxide alarm, had it in my hand. Didn't seem to come from there.

Is there another alarm? I checked the manual. If you house battery is low, is there a warning? If the steps are out is there a warning?

Thanks for your feedback.

Could be the LP alarm which will sound if the battery is low. It is usually near the floor in the kitchen area.

You were right. By now I have the coach in for a umpteen point check up, and that's what they said. I do need a new battery.
Thanks
