Rock Guard

We have been towing our Jeep Wrangler in an enclosed trailer behind our Seneca. Now we're looking into flat towing with a Blue Ox system. Any recommendations on a rock guard?

We use a Blue Ox BX88255 KarGard II Deflector. After pulling our toad 15000 miles, no rock chips to speak of.

If you tow with a box trailer and have the ability to back up, why are you going with 4 on the ground toad towing? We've thought of going just the opposite and biting the bullet for a trailer.

I am having an open trailer custom made to haul my Mazda Miata. Main deck tilts down so no ramps to mess with. Room on the front for a large tool chest and my electric bike.

I was using a front wheel dolly for my former car, but too awkward to disengage and not able to back up because of too many pivot points. The reverse capability of a trailer is a major benefit.

Is your Jeep the only thing you have in the trailer? We haul our Toyota on our Flatbed Trailer along with other toys that go along on the trip.

Have you taken into consideration that you will need to buy / install a secondary braking system for the Jeep in addition to the tow-bar?

I'm trying to understand why you are wanting to go from what I think is the "best setup" to something less?
