Roof

Sorry, another question. Jayco specifications for the 2021 Redhawk 24B states:

- Stronghold VBL™ Vacuum-Bond laminated roof, floor and sidewalls
- TPO laminated roof

Anyone know what they are referring too? Their "Construction Detail" link is horrible.

TPO is a very common type of rubber roof on the majority of travel trailers. Usually installed over 3/8 plywood. Not sure about your unit.

You have a fiberglass roof. Composite built like the walls. No thin rubber roof to tear.

Are you sure? I thought the Greyhawks had fiberglass and the Redhawks were TPO.

Listed under "standard exterior equipment" for the 2021 models. looks like an upgrade from last year

Maybe they fixed a typo? This is what I get when I go to the 2021 Redhawk specs:

Stronghold VBL™ Vacuum-Bond laminated roof, floor and sidewalls
Bead-foam insulation (R-24 max roof, R-9 max floor, R-5 max walls)
TPO laminated roof

Fiberglass roof would be a great upgrade if its true.

On our 2021 Redhawk 31F, the roof feels like a plastic roof. Definitely not rubber.

You don't have a 2012 Red Hawk 24B. Sorry I couldn't resist.

Contact service@jayco.com with the last 8 digits of your VIN # and they will tell you exactly what type roof you have.

This is the inside ceiling - Stronghold VBL™ Vacuum-Bond laminated roof
The outside has the - TPO laminated roof

I have the 2120 Redhawk 31F and have been up on the roof, and it is TPO. My last 24' rig had the fiberglass, and there is a clear difference between them.
